Bio
My first band, The Little Flowers, was the house band at the Niteowl in the Village in the early 60's. We blazed and then imploded and in the wake I joined a friend in the hype band, the Gurus. A lot of promo, but... Jerry Brand asked me to put together a backup trio for Jim and Jean. We played a Murry the K show at the RKO Fox in NYC with Cream, The Who, Wilson Pickett, Mitch Rider. etc (4 shows a day for over a week). From there we went on tour with the Beach Boys as the opening act and at the end of the tour, I moved to LA to be produced by Dennis Wilson and then by Bruce Langhorne. Dennis and I eventually returned to the studio and cut 2 songs with members of Greg Allman's band including the unsung guitar hero Tippy Armstrong (prior to the Allman Bros) but by then I'd had it with the business and came back East. Since then I've kept a foot in the music spending most of my time raising our family with my wife Lisa. Now I'm back in the studio with Jim Salamone @ Cambridge Sound in Newtown, Pa., A great place with great ears.
