""Best Dreams" - GarageBand.com"

I like the recording of the acoustic guitar, very natural sounding tone with little finger-squeaks - the simple pick is rhythmical and melodic.

The vocals are truly excellent - they make me think of Adam Duritz - they have a plaintive, quietly emotional feeling, with superb control and range, a great way with the lyrics, very intimate, almost like overhearing a private conversation.

This song is quite beautiful - wonderful lyrics (and a great hook line at the end of the chorus), and a very strong melody that on occasion soars. It strikes me more as an album track than a single, but it could fit really well into movies or tv.
The production/recording/mixing is faultless.

I think this is as good as I've heard on GB - I would guess you do this for a living because this is so professionally performed.

Good job - I expect to see you at the top of the charts. - Robintymm from Ashbourne, United Kingdom

Singer/songwriter Michael Rossback draws musical inspiration from his twenty some years of life, coupling eloquent prose with beautiful melodies. Rossback traces the roots of his music career to when he first began playing base. Shortly thereafter, he picked up acoustic guitar and lyrics naturally followed. His smooth, emotionally driven vocals bring the lyrics of his songs to life with each passing bar. Rossback has been writing music for more than a decade and attributes his best songs to moments of inspiration whether fleeting or fixed, divine or external. His musical influences Radiohead, Damien Rice, Pete Yorn and Teitur have unknowingly offered creative drive.

Beginning on the bass and acoustic guitar, he soon found an interest for the piano and electronic approaches to his music and writing. After graduating college he started a studio where he began to record his music as well as producing other local and national talent.

But after spending the last few years touring the country (and just recently, the world), lending a hand on stage and in the studio with fellow musicians, Michael admits he feels the time is right to start focusing his ability and efforts towards his own music.

Michael has slowly and quietly built a fan base around a handful of songs that he wrote and recorded but never pushed. "I would have never let any music out my door if it weren't for friends insisting. I didn't even get my music out. They did it for me."

Now with a band and a full albums worth of new music, Michael looks to take his music to people and places that it has never been before. With such an enthusiastic response from fans of old and new it appears that the road ahead is an exciting one.
