as a “show” format, it can easily be adapted
and combined with other entertainment to
enhance any event.

BIOGRAPHY
Although he began his musical journey as a singing, songwriting, guitarist, Michael Valentine Ubriaco quickly focused in on singing seriously as a teenager in the early 1970s. Choosing an easier to remember stage name, Michael Valentine, he began by honing his vocal skills while listening and learning from the great male pop singers of all eras and genres he was aware of at the time. He discovered early on the individual attributes of each singer, what made them special and the lessons that can be taught through them. As he went about self-appointing his mentors, the male vocalists that impressed him the most, he solidified his vocal sound and style that would stay with him throughout his singing career. His huge influences came from these unique and outstanding individuals;
Frank Sinatra, Jack Jones, Dennis Tufano, Robert Lamm and Jim Morrison.
Michael Valentine has always maintained a high standard of quality and professionalism in his performances, paying attention to detail while recreating the vocals of the songs he has chosen in his repertoire. He has shared the stage with many notable and enduring acts of the 50', 60's and 70s including;
Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, The Vogues, The Crystals, The Duprees and Frankie Lymons' Legendary Teenagers.
After his stint with THE CUFF LINKS, Michael Valentine decided to form another group to pay homage to his self-proclaimed mentors and the American male pop singers from the era of music that meant, and still means so much to him.....The Sensational Sixties!
