It was at the age of 2, when Michael's Grandmother knew that God had placed a special calling on his life. Michael would sing and pray for everyone that walked in his Grandmother's door.
At the age of 6, while a member of the Sunshine Band at his church Greater Love C.O.G.I.C. Michael sang his first solo, bringing everyone to their feet.
At the age of 12, he became a one of the youngest members and soloist of the adult choir. His first solo in the adult choir was Fred Hammond's 'Blessed' which became a favorite song of the Pastor and Congregation.
By the age 15, Michael was a member of the Boys Choir of Tallahassee, President of his high school Gospel Choir, as well as a member of the Praise & Worship Team at his church.
After high school Michael's life took a dramatic turn. He left the choir and his church. Going thru what He calls, the death valley era of his life. "i know that it was nothing but the grace and mercy of God that kept me alive thru that time in my life", he says. "But if we don't go thru the valley, we will never thank God for the Mountain Top Experience".
In 2003, Michael discoveerd yet another talent. The talent of songwritting. "The day I wrote my first song was the day I rededicated my life to God. God spoke to me in every word I wrote." The song 'My Comforter' is still one of his favorite songs he's ever written. Relocating to Jesup, GA in the Fall of 2003, Michael started back singing.
Now recording the album he says he was destined to do. He says that every song was birth from a storm or chapter in his life that God took him thru and out of.
With style from the likes of Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, and Byron Cage. Michael proclaims this album, "My Desire", has something for everyone. With songs like the heavy sampled 'Get it Together' and RnB flavored 'Don't Cry'. Michael is sure to get the Church and the Radio to take notice. The movational 'Pray Hard' will surely take you through your storm, and 'I Trust U' will get you a breakthrough.
Now a husband & a Father of one, Michael says he is ready to take his ministry of hope and deliverance to the world. "It's my purpose, it's what I've been called to do"
