Safety in numbers - Michael Wolek is a singer-songwriter and manages to be a whole band (quote: "if I split up - all parts are still me."); the other parts of the songs are done with guest musicians or computers.
Residing in the small town of Freilassing in southern Germany he collaborates with musicians all over the world by internet whenever a song needs it.
Vienna/Austria is his second home base and city of birth.
Michaels lyrics cover all aspects of life. His writing has a deeply profound and poetic style that is pleasing to the ear. His wording and content is original and imaginative.
Michael is born in the sign of Leo on the 14th of August in 1964. At the age of 15 he first grabbed the guitar and started to write songs. Experiencing life in different countries like Germany, Austria, Saudi Arabia and the USA (Santa Clara, CA) expanded his musical vision.
1987 he moved to Munich/Germany working as a freelancer in programming and teaching programming languages such as C, Assembler, C++ and Java.
1994 the Austrian Alps became a new home for the traveller; the millennium settled him in Freilassing/Germany the place where he lives right now.
Michael is looking for a label which shares his vision and promotes the songs to reflect his music.
