Biography

Michal Kuczynski
He was born 23 years ago in Giessen, Germany, from where after two years he moved to the city of Braunschweig. There, he spent 17 years. Even as a child he learned sensitivity for music from his mother and grandfather. At the age of 6, he started learning to play the piano. After finishing this 6 year education, he tried the alto saxophone but he could not identify himself with this instrument. At 16, while visiting friends, Michael began to play with his voice. His mother noticed this and suggested that he began learning singing from her. Progress has been noted after a few months. At the same time, Michal became interested in jazz and soul. Instantly he found his idols: Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, Harry Connick Jr., Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darin, Diana Krall, Aretha Franklin.

His voice is still run by his mother. Michal is currently studying on the third year of the Academy of Music in Gdansk, Vocal and Acting Department, where studies singing in addition to contemporary dance, musical, ballet and American tap dance, which in addition to acting, became another of his passions. Michal is the finalist of the Must Be The Music talent show, in which won the sympathy of the jury with his original repertoire, singing classics such as Feeling Good, My Way and Mambo Italiano. He was honored every time by Darek Maciborek from radio RMF FM, who named him “Icebreaker”. At the moment, Michal is the writing songs and recording his debut album which is planned for release in 2013.
