Michael ‘’Kane Juice’’ Marsh

‘’Kane Juice’’ was born Michael Marsh, the ninth of ten children to Lorrel and Inez Marsh on the twenty seventh day of January 1966 in a place called Dunnsville, in the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies.
The name ‘’kane juice’’ came about when he was recording his first song at the studio and the producer ask him if he had a stage name which he replied no and the producer said his voice was sweet like the juice of the sugarcane and thus the name cane juice was born which is now spelt with a Kane instead of Cane.

Michael would have probably became a comedian, but all of that had changed in 1983 when he was unexpectedly called on stage to perform at his school's concert. It was the warm response that he received at Jamaica College, the school he was attending, that gave him the motivation he needed to pursue a career in music. In1994 ‘’Kane Juice’’ entered a talent night at the Bohemia Night Club in Half Way Tree, a club that was breaking grounds for new and upcoming artists to the music industry. His clear, sweet, melodious vocal made it easy for the judges final decisions and was placed the first place winner.

In 1985 before graduating from Jamaica College, Michael ‘’Kane Juice Marsh’’ had his first song released on Sunset Recording Label with the courtesy of Harry J, a song entitled Ghetto Tenement Yard, which was played first on JBC by Barry G Jamaica’s finest radio disjok, and the RJR Radio, the only two stations in Jamaica at that time.

Kane Juice had worked in the Hotel circuit for a while with the New Breed Band and the New Foundation Band. He has also worked in the Dance Hall arena with King Jammy's Sound system, and Love Vibration sound system. Michael thought of himself to be fortunate to have worked with top producers Mr. LLoyd James aka King Jammy's, Mr. Clement Dodd Of Studio One, and with much respect, Mr. Harry Johnson of Sunset Recording Label for giving Kane Juice his first released recording.

Kane Juice was nominated for best male vocal in the Clinton Lindsay's Tamika Award of 1995 and again in 1996. In the year 2000, Kane Juice analyzed himself and thought he was under produced and that is when he created his own indie label entitled BARAKA MUSIC. In the year 2001, Michael Kane Juice Marsh released his first album entitled 12 Joints Of Kane. Several tracks from that album was used as background music in a play called EVE, done by Oliver Samuels and Friends. ‘’Kane Juice’’ had done major shows across the continents such as ENDLAND and the UNITED STATES, in Jamaica and the Caribbean islands

Because of family commitments Kane Juice migrated to the United States where he spent many years tending to his family responsibilities but sill would do a few recordings which was aired on the Jamaican radio
In the year 2008, Kane Juice released a second album entitled TAKE IT EASY which features twelve beautiful tracks. A very popular track from which that album was named became a big hit in Jamaica but because of family obligations Kane Juice was unable to promote the songs to its fullest .
Kane Juice is now back in Jamaica and ready to carry his music across the world. Presently Kane Juice has now teamed up with Star Track Records and Inspire Musiq and start creating a buzz in his homeland as his tracks are being played on a number of radio stations in Jamaica including the very popular number one reggae station Irie Fm tracks being aired are the same TEK IT EASY, NOBODY ELSE a favorite to many listeners…JOKER BAD BOY AND ONE BAG A WEED. His music is being promoted through medias such as CDBABY, FACEBOOK, MYSPACE, TWITTER, and Youtube, Albums and tracks can be bought on itunes, cdbaby, amazon ect. The world is gonna love this artist, with his strong vocals and the foundation reggae which he pledge not stray away from in this competitive industry in Jamaica. Real REGGAE.
