Material: This powerhouse singer makes average material sound great. Michelle Clark traverses dance, rock and R&B with ease –– sometimes within the same song. Nonetheless, the songs themselves are less memorable than her performance. This is not necessarily a bad thing, since great performers have always elevated their material and that’s the kind of effect Clark has.
Musicianship: This is an excellent group fronted by an amazing vocalist. Well rehearsed and dynamically sound, the band lays down a solid and full foundation for Clark ’s vocal gymnastics. With her intensely emotional delivery, however, Clark ’s technique could almost be overlooked. But, her vocal control is such that many American Idol contestants would die for it. Without a doubt, Clark is a skilled and accomplished vocalist who can keep growing with time.
Performance: Calling Clarke a high-energy performer hardly describes her onstage demeanor. The enthusiastic singer danced and sang until she was dripping wet. Moreover, the sexual tension she projected from the stage was strong and had an impact. Star power may be a nebulous quality, but it was on full display during Clark ’s set.
Summary: Michelle Clark has that “x” factor so many people in this industry look for. That, along with her phenomenal vocal abilities, could take her far. But, to really make it on her own terms, she might want to consider co-writers who know something about writing a hit song. As it is now, her material is the only thing holding her back. ––Bernard Baur

Rather than spending countless moments reading through a long (and hopefully intriguing) synopsis of Michelle Clark's life, an interesting place to start is her diverity as an artist. Having spent several years in high fashion make-up, Michelle has rapidly become a top film makeup artist. In 2006 alone, she helmed the departments of four films including David Lynch's newest film "Inalnd Empire". Her artistry and creativity has led to an impressive reputation in the film industry, and yet it is her voice that is most inspiring.
Michelle Clark has spent a lifetime crafting that unique voice with which she effortlessly collaborates with some of the industry's most unique musicians. Her ability to transition tempo seamlessly is uncanny and her adrenaline based anthems provide a compelling contrast to her raw and stripped down ballads.
