Bio

Michelle De’s songwriting career started based on a dare. International Hip Hop / Rap artist, Ace Reign read one of her poems and was taken aback by its visual elements. What Michelle De considered to be innocent outlets, Ace heard powerful assonance of melodies. Ace encouraged Michelle De to convert her poetic expressions into music. Initially, Michelle De refused, proclaiming that her poetic expressions were private compositions that she wrote to pass time or to vent about injustices she had observed or experienced firsthand. Yet, Ace Reign was determined to convince Michelle De to explore her musical abilities. In order to put an end to Ace’s persistence, Michelle De agreed to compose one song. Every Time I Weep was born. Followed by hip hop track, Thank God I’m Me; Country single, Don’t Know How To Love; and R&B track, Lost. However, it was her Hip Hop/Rap/R&B single, Love Conspiracy that placed her on the radar of many musical fans.
