Bio
Michelle has been playing acoustic guitar and singing for approximately 9 years. Her interest in performing professionally developed as audiences continued to be drawn in to her music and stage presence. Akin to searching for a compatible and reliable boyfriend, Michelle's search for a compatible and reliable bass player hasn't been without drama. Earlier this year at a Sharon Jones concert, Michelle got talking to Tom & Nick from the soul band "Busted Onions" Both guys were keen to work on other projects with a soul/ funk feel... and hence. Influences and inspirations would be Sharon Jones, Eryka Badu, Marvin Gaye, Meshell Ndegeocello, Michael Franti .... anything smooth and groovy with a sexy base line.
