Given that I work for a radio station, and because of the many CD's submitted daily for on-air consideration...
I saw the name of the group and stereotyped it immediately! Probably a Praise & Worship band who decided to finally write a few originals with the marginal musicianship they've
developed from playing once a week at church.
Umm...I was wrong. The first track I've experienced from Michelle Hoy & Ordinary People - "Blame Game" has won me over!
The production has a quality rarely found in an unsigned artist's recording.
Their blend of folk, pop, and a touch of rock has huge appeal
to Top40 radio! With vocal qualities and songwritting stemming from greats like Jewel, Nichole Nordeman and Jennifer Knapp.
