Hey everyone!
I'm from the state of Texas; God, my family and friends are among the tops in my life of inspiration when it comes to life and writing! I've been writing poetry far as long as I can remember and that ventured into songwriting. My writing style I would say is a "poetic" approach to reality, it can be harsh and even heartbreaking at times but that's just me and how I express myself.
My influences are Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, Dolly Parton, Deana Carter, Olivia Newton-John, Mary J. Blige, Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow, Martina McBride, Pink and Eminem!
I grew up in Texas on Harleys and Horses. I'm a MOTOmom of some very outstanding kids that race dirt bikes, our family sport is motocross and yes our family absolutely LOVES it! We barbeque, camp out and just spend the weekends at the race tracks when we can.
I have received several "editor's choice awards" from the Poetry Guild, some of my works are published in several anthologies. I have copyrighted lyrics that I'm planning on putting music to and other future goals include writing a book or two or three... LOL well I guess you get the picture...I just want to write obviously and be successful even hopefully leaving behind a little something for my husband and kids to be able to say hey we are proud of her.
