"Hear Me Now"

2001 Star Maker Finalist, College of Country Music graduate and holder of a Batchelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium, MICHELLE LITTLE is anything but a lightweight. Her brand new debut album Hear Me Now is a clarion call that she has arrived. The debut single Free To Be Me (written with PATRICIA CRUZADO) made the top 5 at the 2008 TSA Songwriters Awards. Michelle has co-written five of the 12 tracks. Cyclone (which mixes passion with weather), Forty Degrees (a fine bluesy number), More Living To Do and Rose Of The Desert (the latter two co-written with producer ROGER CORBETT) stand up brilliantly beside classics such as Hallelujah, Leaving On Your Mind, Angel Of The Morning and I Am Australian. The team at Roger’s Valley has done an excellent job of bringing Michelle’s music to life. Every song simply reiterates the title; you have to hear Michelle Little now!

Bio

Michelle Little has the country firmly in her heart and the Country Music Industry firmly in her sights. She released her first full album ‘Hear Me Now’ in December 2007 and her single ‘Free To Be Me’ has received national support on country music radio.
With her big voice and "stand and deliver" style of performing, Michelle continually mesmerises audiences wherever she goes. Whether its with a heart felt ballad like "Crazy" or a raunchy rendition of an original song like" Forty Degrees" this girl knows how to sing and will draw you in!

25 year-old Michelle hails from Mendooran in NSW and grew up listening to her parents’ country music collection which included a large helping of traditional american country like Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins and Dolly Parton.
In 2001 she headed off to Tamworth to the College of Country Music and Toyota Star Maker. She’s had her sights set firmly on a career in country music since.
“ I just love the songs and the people” she says “especially the Patsy Cline era and big ballads.
2006 saw Michelle playing gigs in Nashville including the world famous ‘Bluebird Café’.

Michelle has been a busy girl this year with performances at some of Australia’s major festivals including, Tamworth Country Music Festival and most recently The Toyota National Muster.
Michelle also represented Australian Country Music at this year’s Buddha’s Birthday Celebrations at Darling Harbour in Sydney and don’t miss Michelle’s tribute to her long-time idol, Patsy Cline, at the 2009 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

This 25 year old country girl has come a long way from the sleepy little town where she grew up, both physically and emotionally, and when you discover some of the trials she has overcome - such as surviving a horrific car accident and recovering from a broken back - then you'll understand where the depth and passion comes from.
As Country Capital News magazine put it, "You have to hear Michelle Little now!"
