Bio

Singer-songwriter and worship leader, Michelle Margiotta has released her new CD project called, “State of Heart.” These songs express the heartaches, adventures, and expectations of what awaits us as we walk this life in Christ Jesus. Michelle has dedicated her life to ministering to the church as well as to nonbelievers in order that they may experience healing and restoration in their lives through the music God has given her.

“Although I am still learning, I am just beginning to realize what true worship is. Growing up in church I associated worship solely with singing and music. However, I believe that true worship goes much deeper. It is a faithful devotion, a lifestyle of obedience and a relationship of adoration towards God. Although music can be a powerful vessel to bring healing, it is just an extension of our worship toward God.”

Michelle has ministered in various churches, conferences, and venues across the United States. In addition, she also had the privilege of ministering in sundry nations including Belize, Jamaica, Hawaii and Israel. Her heart pursues after the heart of God with the purpose of releasing the love He has for all people through song. She has a resolve for missions and a desire to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Michelle hopes that her music will echo across boundaries uniting people from all walks of life. Created to Worship expresses how we were born to worship God and to follow His holy calling. Songs like, “You Are My King” resonate with the transparent truths of our own struggles as we walk through this life. Regardless of how hard life may be, God is our purpose. Though we feel weak, it is in His strength that we press on.

“One day a friend of mine wore this shirt with the cliché statement written, ‘State of Mind’. I began pondering about how our hearts affect our ‘state of mind’. So in essence, it’s not our ‘state of mind’, but our ‘state of heart’. Then it occurred to me how only God can see our hearts for what they truly are. As Christians, we want to ‘look’ right and ‘act’ right. Especially when we’re in front of one another. When we realize that only God can see right through us, we need to be focused on where our state of heart is. As a worship leader, its so easy to get caught up in what worship should ‘look’ like. But when it comes down to worshipping God in ‘spirit and in truth,’ what does our ‘heart’ look like? What is our ‘state of heart’?”
