This multi-talented performer made her professional debut in the film “Little Shop Of Horrors” at the age of 17, where she was featured acting, singing and dancing. This led to starring roles in “The Tap Dance Kid”, “Godspell”, “The Me Nobody Knows” and “Mahalia” on and off Broadway. Michelle has enjoyed a successful recording career in both the gospel and dance fields. She is one of the top Dance recording artists in the United States and Europe, and has had records on the charts on both continents, including “The Moment of My Life” and “The Light” A powerhouse performer; Michelle is as effective singing a ballad as she is a roof-raising gospel number. With her wealth of Broadway experience, it’s no wonder that Michelle’s acting and interpretation of theatrical songs have wowed audiences around the world. She is truly a “triple threat”: a vocalist who can easily hold her own with the likes of Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston; a compelling actress; a performer who instantly owns any stage, and who’s affect on an audience has been compared to that of “an atomic bomb explosion”!
Michelle has had the opportunity to work with producers and artists like, Jamie Lewis, DJ Spen, Barbara Tucker, Bini and Martini, Martha Wash, Quincy Jones, Sybil, Sandy Rivera, Moca Productions and many others.
