Ms. Wray's singing career started at an early age when she sang her first solo, "Bless This House", while in the 4th grade. Ms. Wray continued her vocal progression by singing various church solos, where she was a member of the youth and mass choir. While at Airways Jr. High (Memphis, TN), Michelle held a chair for three (3) consecutive years as a 1st soprano at the State West Tennessee Competitions. Ms. Wray continued to hone her vocal talents while attending Booker T. Washington High School (Memphis, TN). Due to an abundance of recognition for her dedicated work and singing prowess, Michelle was selected to perform the Black National Anthem for the 1992 Annual NAACP Gala's, which were held at the prestigious Peabody Grand Hotel (Memphis, TN). After graduation, Ms. Wray continued as a lead vocalist for her church choir as well as participating in and winning various talent shows throughout the city of Memphis at night clubs such as Prentiss on the Hill, Club Ritz, and the legendary Memphis night spots, Club Royale and Willie Mitchell's.
After persistent urgings and requests, Ms. Michelle Wray has finally embarked on a potentially, highly explosive professional singing career. With the support of family and friends coupled with an ever growing local fan base, along with Bell Entertainment Group Productions, Ms. Wray's star is beginning to emit a brilliant shine.
