Mick Flannery is a 21 year old folk rock singer songwriter. He is an experienced performer, having gigged extensively around his native Ireland and NYC. His debut EP, launched last November, was terrifically received. Having just returned from a week of shows as part of the Islands of Song Atlantic Crossroads Festival
in St. John's, Canada, Mick is in New York City for the summer to promote his new album, Evening Train. This promises to be one of the most original and exciting album releases of this year. Over 11 tracks, the tragic story of two very different brothers unfolds. Set in small town America, both , men desperately seek to get out on the evening train with a one-way ticket. The album is a lyrical masterpiece and boasts a most unique & graceful female vocalist. The CD Release Show was in CB's Gallery, NYC, August 25th, 2005.
