From recording with the likes of Slum Village, Lupe Fiasco, Stack Bundles(RIP), NO ID, Hi-Tek, Buckwild and others, Mick Luter has risen from the underground scene to one of Chicago's most prolific emcees. Mick defeated over 3000 contestants in the 2007 Music Nation hip hop contest which landed him a deal with Sony/Epic Records. The deal wasn't quite Mick's cup of tea so he decided to take the independent route. Mick's influences range from Nas to Donny Hathaway to D.O.C. Mick has carefully crafted a sound to represent the westside of Chicago. "I have the ability to put the listener in the verse."
