Micky Munday (March 29, 1986) is an up and coming L.A. based hip-hop artist. Growing up in different parts of L.A. he met and experienced many sides of the city. In turn he was able to see what success looked like causing him to want and strive for the best. Always writing and expressing his thoughts and ideas with poetry, at the age of 17 he decided to take his destiny into his own hands using the platform of music and entertainment. Consequently the rap Alias Micky Munday was born. The nickname was spawned from a character he played 5 years ago while recording a song featuring Lady G, Holla, and Chaz Logan called, Cocaine Cowboys. The name and the inspiration of the song came from a movie by the same title. Each artist was named after a character in the movie, and he was Micky Munday. Fans and friends started referring to him as such and it just so happened to stick. Music talent including Tupac, Nirvana, The beetles, Biggie and Michael Jackson, are who influence Micky. Just like those artist Micky wants his music to bring about a feeling, effecting emotions and moods touching every person. His mix tape which was released under The Press ENT is entitled Temporary Insanity is full of fun catchy lyrics, which also speak truth to the audience.
