a.k.a. Rich 4rm Reason comes from a musically inclinded background from immediate family to distant relatives. Like legendary Jazz Drummer Edgar Bateman and Kenneth Mangram who was signed to La Face Records. Just like most R&B singers, he grew up singing in a church in a small town in Oklahoma. A few years later after learning the basics of harmonies, tones and pitches he and a few of his friends formed a group in high school. Shortly after graduation he left for college to study his second love Art.. After finishing college and continuing to jump in and out of singing groups dreaming to find someone with the same passion and drive that he had for his music. He felt a void still in his life and searching for direction he joined the Army. But while in the Army he still managed to form yet another R&B group performing at a few military functions and at graduation. After he moved to his permanant base location his younger brother came to live with him. His name was R’jae. Now R’jae loved music as much as Mic’Rich so they began to sing and write together. Later they formed a group by the name of Reason. The group began to win a few talent shows around Ft. Hood so they decided to record a song. The local DJ heard it and immediately put in on the air a couple of times. Being young and under developed the group decided to take it alittle slower stop doing shows and record a whole demo tape. Soon after recording Rjae’ had to leave on personal business for a few months. `Mic’Rich now out of the army and selling cars. He meets a young man by the name of Demorris a.k.a Mr.Heavyhitta. Who after speaking to him found out he had the same hunger as he did they hooked up and listen to each others work Later on Mic’Rich had a friend that was about to do a segment on the “Jenny Jones Show” . His friend wanted to dance to his music on the show. Soon after that the was aired the producer from the show called said a few people called and was intereed in REASON’S music. Reason released a demo song “I am yours” to a local radio station and released a EP and began to perform locally . Later they where contacted by HBO’s “Men in Motion “ male review they where asked to make special appearances at select shows. This began to sparked interest in a few other people. Such as Radio DJ from KQBT “THE BEAT 104.3” Boy Loco who had a show called heart beats. Reason recorded the title theme song for the show that played everynight. Soon Reason signed to a personal management company by the name of Crowe Entertainment. They Started opening for major acts such at Tyrese, Ying Yang Twins, Fat Joe and Jaheem to name a few. Also by that time they had acuired new producer like.Tim Curry, David Elizondo a.k.a kidd kumbia(Univision) and StefonTaylor(produced and engineered the best of R&B R.Kelly). Reason joined a web page Mp3unsigned.com which show cases talent all over ther world. They began to get international radio play via internet radio. One station for instance called aiiradio.net(uk) named Reason the Hottest unsinged group in the US. They also charted in the numbr one spot for six weeks straight on a few websites. Reason had now grown to a three man group. Eternal Blyss was the third member of Reason, joining the group to bring alittle more urban edge to the mix. Around this time they where contacted by the tv producer from Warner Bros/Telepictures Whom by now after a few years had established a rather strong relationship business as well as friendship.. They where asked to do an intro or Theme song for a new show(pilot) Mo’Nique was working on. Shortly aftwards they where asked to perform on Tyra Banks New show(pilot). They also recived offer for “That’s So Raven” and many more. Things did not work out the way they planned so Rjae’ and Blyss wanted to take a break from the group for a while. It was then Mic’Rich decided to keep moving forward with the connections that he already attained, went back to the studio wrote, arranged and recorded his new solo albulm. He is now currently working with Carnival Beats ( www.carnivalbeats.com ) Ladies and Gentleman It is my honor to introduce the one and only...... © 2006 Mic'Rich
