Bio

Midnight Pass sticks to the basics, with influences such as Taking Back Sunday, Blink 182, and Fall Out Boy. Together, they carefully compose each song, trying to make each note as harmonious as the next. They’ve been spending hour upon hour, trying to perfect their sound before they unveil themselves. Midnight Pass consists of four. Macklin Conley, Mike Saari, Chris Thompson, and Joe Abraham.
Macklin originally started playing bass after getting into Blink 182 in 7th grade. His first onstage experience was with Exit 67 at the 8th grade talent show at Sarasota Middle. From there Macklin picked up guitar and has been off and on in little bands. But for one reason or another they never worked out. He continued to perfect his guitar skills until running over Midnight Pass. Joe Abraham has been musically inclined from the start. He started playing the drums after an old friend showed him an easy Blink-182 song. From there the friends traded back and forth with showing each other new songs they learned. Joe joined the Riverview Kiltie Drum Line in 10th grade after playing saxophone for 4 years. After winning the SARA awards, a local Sarasota talent competition, with Good Graeff he has moved on to a harder sound with Midnight Pass. Mike Saari originally started playing the guitar in the summer of 10th grade. He joined a band by the name of Down and Out. After a few months of no progress, he decided this band wasn’t for him. From here he picked up the bass, and hasn’t put it down. Chris Thompson grew up alongside of Joe. They both started bands through out middle school. They made their first music video on Joe’s half-pipe. After learning the basics of being in a band, Chris moved on to bigger and better things with Midnight Pass. With the musical collaboration of all 4 musicians they are able to produce a new modern type of rock music that no one has ever came across before.
We keep close to the music we grew up on. We’re shooting for a sound that can adequately represent us. We want people of all ages to be able to relate to us. Although we have a familiar sound, it’s also original, making it pleasing for anyone to listen to. We have only been a band for 2 months, but have already made outstanding progress. With that in mind, we hope to make bigger strides in the right direction, and eventually find ey our niche in the music industry. Until then we’ll continue writing and producing our own music, in hopes that someone will discover us.
