Midnight Ritual Rocks 2010 at The Firkin & Lindbergh
Atlanta – November 23, 2009 – The Firkin & Lindbergh is hosting a New Year's Eve celebration to bring in 2010 entitled "New Year’s Eve Upstairs at The Firkin & Lindbergh." The Firkin & Lindbergh owners have asked Atlanta rock band, Midnight Ritual, to provide the evening’s entertainment.
Midnight Ritual will play three sets of originals and fun rock classics starting at 9:00 PM. Andrea Hawes-Beatty is band leader for Midnight Ritual and is excited about the evening. "I love The Firkin & Lindbergh. It is my new favorite bar. The food, the drinks, and the staff are incredible! Midnight Ritual is going to have a rock'n good time bringing in the New Year playing for The Firkin party crowd!”

About Midnight Ritual:
Andrea Hawes-Beatty a veteran singer and songwriter formed Midnight Ritual, an Atlanta rock band with drummer Lezon Miller. Hawes-Beatty’s previous project of original music included “Ondrea - Strychnine Sea.” The project received national and international attention. Hawes has performed in Europe, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Atlanta and all over the southeast. She cut her teeth singing the Blues for many years alongside Blues greats’ Sandra Hall, Bobby Byrd, Buddy Guy, Lonnie Brooks, and local Atlanta celebrity Mudcat.

Midnight Ritual’s self-titled EP was produced by legendary producer Don McCollister. McCollister has worked on platinum projects for the Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins, and Sister Hazel.
Midnight Ritual’s songs are heavily influenced by Rock, R&B and the Blues. The Midnight Ritual project is the brain-child of veteran Atlanta singer Andrea Hawes and drummer Lezon Miller.
After years of songwriting and performing, Hawes is a soulful rocker and is no newbie pop princess. Her sultry voice strokes the heartstrings of the American music scene. Her previous project of original music includes “Strychnine Sea.” This album received national and international attention.
Hawes has performed in Europe, Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta. She cut her teeth singing the Blues for many years alongside Blues greats’ Sandra Hall, Buddy Guy, Lonnie Brooks, and local Atlanta celebrity Mudcat.
David Humphreys, lead guitarist for the group, is a seasoned vet with notable credits having performed with international stars such as Lynard Skynard, Paul Davis, and Ron Price.
