Risky Business

Written By: Steven D. Morris

It's always right over your shoulder,
Risky Business in the corner.

It's getting late, later than you think,
Set your watch back and fix another drink.
Hold your girl, hold onto her tight,
Cause jealous eyes been watching her all night.

It's always right over your shoulder,
Risky Business in the corner.

Your not laughing anymore,
A sign of your impending death or just a symptom of the war,
That battles around in your head every time,
Every time things don't go your way,
Sometimes things don't go your way.

It's always right over your shoulder,
Risky Business in the corner.

Now it's almost time to go home,
It looks like as usual, your going home alone.
You thought you had a chance at romance,
But your personality got in the way.

Had To Do It

Written By: Steven D. Morris

Most people lie
About things they've tried
But I'll admit I had to do it once

I couldn't resist
That hidden bliss
And it was so much better than I thought it would be

I swore it was just for fun
It blew my mind in more ways than one
And I bet we'll se you try it soon enough

I had to do it,
I had to do it,
Mama you know i had to do it once

I won't deny it,
I had to try it,
And it sure ain't the worst thing that I've done

I hope my parents
Never hear this
Cause they'd be twice as ashamed as I ever was

My mama would cry
Asking me why
Did I do all those things she'd heard I'd done

My papa would scream
Bustin' at the seams
Saying, "I thought I told you to best leave that alone!"

I had to do it,
I had to do it,
Mama you know i had to do it once

I won't deny it,
I had to try it,
And it sure ain't the worst thing that I've done

Painted Jeans

Written By: Steven D. Morris

I'd walk forty miles in the rain
Just to see if you were home
Your lights are off and so I call you on the phone

But you never pick it up
But I know always your there
For me with a helping hand to lend
When I need a helping hand

I realized I never told you
Just what I was thinking of you
And when I called you and you answered in a voice that made me think

I was dreaming
You got me believing
Now maybe I might not be leaving so soon

We stayed up every night
Showed each other what we like
I must admit you didn't strike me as someone who'd want to hang around with me at all

We had so much fun whole it lasted
Watching cartoons getting blasted
Then you finally got the courage to tell me all the things that I needed to hear you say
And you told me with such grace

I realized I never told you
How good it felt to hold you
Then i call you up and you answer in that voice that makes me think

I was dreaming
You got me believing
Now maybe I might not be leaving so soon

We stayed up every night
Showed each other what we like
I must admit you didn't strike me as someone who'd want to hang around with me at all

Nightpants

Written By: Steven D. Morris

Sure you can buy me a drink,
Surprise me it's your choice,
And I definitely get what your saying.

Now don't try so hard,
Your moves come on so strong,
And I think we both want the same thing. (Nightpants, Nightpants)

Oh you can't dance,
Until she puts them on,
Nightpants, Nightpants?

Now your back on the street,
Trying to make a new scene,
But your never get anywhere when you run around lookin' all beat up in those old messed up jeans

Last time you saw me I was a mess,
But lately I've been doing alright,
And I figured since it was a Saturday and we were both a little bit lonely that maybe you'd wanna spend the night.

Oh you can't dance,
Until she puts them on,
Nightpants, Nightpants?
