The Midway After Dark

Cam Clark and Jay Flores-Holz are old friends. Both having joined the carnival circuit at different times and for their own personal reasons, they finally met sometime in late 2001 when their caravans collided in, what is now referred to as, the Urban Street Scandal. Along with a small collection of rag-tag penny entertainers, drinks and celebrations were shared during a 5 year collaboration of roadhouse style blues based rock n' roll. It was great when it was great, and frustrating when it wasn't. The 5 piece pushed on until it was time to take the Easy Way Out and turn to a Dark Season. Jay joined a streetwise crew of misfits who would help him explore the envelope a little more while Cam took the lonely road to search the depths of his soul while resurfacing to fill in for an earthy group of electric troubadours known as Micronite Filters. Having spent so much time apart was a tremendous learning experience but time weighed in on these projects and Cam and Jay felt the carnival calling again. Something was absent or misplaced, and it seems that they've found what they've been missing in the Midway After Dark. With the addition of Kelly Ann Vandermeer on accordion, Avital Zemer on bass and Carlos Aguillera on drums, it just keeps getting better and better.
