- All songs composed and produced by 22 year old Michael Lane with live assistance from Jamie Thompson, Lindsay Anne, and Chaz Core. Every member also sings background harmonies.

In 2003 Michael Lane was diagnosed with an Inner Ear disorder called Labrynthitus. After undergoing an MRI doctors found an 11mm cyst on the Pineal gland of Michaels brain. If grown one mm it may very likely become cancerous. Therefor, Michael Lane is striving to share his music with the world before this ticking time bomb in his head goes off. Even though most would consider this a curse, the 11mm water filled sac in his brain allows him to hear differently and gives him what many refer to as "Perfect Pitch" which is why some may consider his cyst a blessing.

Michael Lane played shows throughout the orange county circuit all throughout his teens until recently working his way into the LA music scene where he caught the ear of Matt Amato (music video director for Bon Iver, Beach House, Edward Sharpe/ co-founder of masses behind Heath Ledger) and Jamie Thompson (drummer of islands/unicorns).

It was after being introduced to Michaels music that Jamie Thompson (also known as Jamie Tambeur) decided not only to play drums for MIGRATION, but to Produce their 1st full length LP in Montreal this NOVEMBER. Whether or not Migration gets the slot at CMJ this Autumn they will be relocating in October to New York City to begin preparing for the Recording process.

- Michael Lane is also preparing songs for Matt Amato's upcoming Feature Film (the makings of you) In which he will be scoring the entire Movie. Michael has 100's of songs and 1000's of melodies just waiting to be stuck in the heads of an entire generation.
