Sexier than gold lamé, hotter than LA in August, and almost as good as the second highball, it’s Miguel, the 9 piece sensation.

Fronted by charismatic trumpet player and vocalist Michael Rogers (Doch), Miguel's performances have earned a reputation as party starters, with their mix of original big band sensibility, soul and relentless dance-floor meltdowns.

Miguel’s music is written in the style of the swing and Soul big bands of the 1950’s and 60’s. Their sound is slick and sophisticated but delivered with genuine warmth and soul. The songs are heartfelt and original, drawn from direct own life experience - their story is their own.

Miguel shows are full of humour and a good-natured tendency towards the sunny side of the street

Just 3 short years since the inception, Miguel have started parties around Australia, toured nationally with Vince Jones, developed 2 theatre show and appeared at festivals too numerous to mention.

Miguel are putting the finishing touches on a brand new release for 2011 with acclaimed West End Producer Paulie B. The new album will feature the heavy horn section of Miguel with the 60s Soul sensibilities and recording techniques.
