Bio
Mikaela Brown is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. With influences such as Stevie Nicks, Sara Bareilles, and Elle King, she bridges the gap between pop and rock music, producing a sound that is uniquely her own. Her intimate lyrics and story-telling ability leaves listeners wonderstruck.
Hailing from a small town in North Carolina called New London, Mikaela is a senior music student at Catawba College. Growing up with an older brother as a musician and a father who always seemed to play guitar, it was no doubt that music would become an important fact in her life. She got her musical start by taking piano lessons in the 8th grade, then picked up the guitar just a few years later.
In just a few short years, Mikaela has played venues across the state of North Carolina and is hoping to venture outside the state in the near future. She’s also in the process of recording and releasing her first EP with an expected release time of summer/early fall 2018.
