"Billboard Magazine"

Mike Asquino's CD, "She Believes In Me", is one of those rare feel-good, truly American - style albums that is destined to become a classic. With the perfect blend of memorable melodies and sing - along lyrics, his music is in the style of other great American Singer-Songwriters such as Jimmy Buffet and James Taylor. "She Believes In Me", is pure fun and perfect for that summer day on the boat, driving to work or simply relaxing with good friends. This CD is a must have for any fan of music. - Brian Cartwright

"The Providence Journal"

Why: From the sweet longing of, "Sailing Ship Majestic", to the bouncy upbeat country of,"American Cowboy", (with its cathy refrain),"I want to be an American cowboy, and feel what it's like to be free"), and on to the domestic dreams of a man ready to settle down in, "Commuter Blues",( No More Commuter blues - - soon I'll be home with you"), Mike Asquino shows the mark of a mature artist who'll show you a good time, and make you feel something too. - Alan Rosenberg

"Amazon.com"

Listening to Mike Asquino's new album, was like entering a timewarp back to the early 80's when I first heard him. I played his music nonstop on my tiny Fisher Price record player usually reserved for Beatle albums and my mom's old 45's. Before revisiting it, I thought I had listen to it as a child solely because I personally knew Mike Asquino...he lived right down the road from us. 20 years later, I realized that familiarity can only maintain a kid's interest to a point, and that somewhere quality has to enter the picture. That's why the CD is currently playing nonstop on my Aiwa system( certainly an upgrade from Fisher Price)."She Believes In Me"is a [darn] good album. Its easygoing country feel is highlighted by, "American Cowboy","Sailing Ship Majestic", and "Dancing In The Firelight", And Dying In the Flame"). From first note to last, you feel as though you're sitting relaxing in Asquino's New Canaan, CT duplex with a beer in your hand....enjoying good music and good company. It's a rare album that creates a nostalgic sense of longing for a better world in a better time. - Terry Dinan
