Mike Carter

Born in Queens, New York but raised througout my teenage years in Charlotte N.C. I am no stranger to the hip hop culture. My love of music began at a young age back in the 80's when I would tag along with my mom and uncles to the studio with their rap group. Growing up in the projects, music was and is today a strong outlet for people's emotions. While trying to escape from negativity of the streets and the absence of my father,
music became a place of expression and escape from the confusion of my life. All that changed when I discovered a deeper truth...that I was loved unconditionally by God Himself...who hung on a tree and rose to set me free. That revelation has given me a deep calling to use my passion for music to speak a deeper reality to people like myself who are longing for a truth that can set them free from the misery and the lies of life!
So today whether it is instrumental, hip hop or rap that tells it real, I have a calling on my life to make a street connection that will lift any and all to consider how they can join me to discover that life is so much more than broken dreams.
