Bio
Jazz saxophonist Mike Casey, from Storrs, Connecticut, is currently a Jazz Studies student at the acclaimed Hartt School/Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz (University of Hartford) as well as a graduate of the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Mike has studied with some of ConnecticutÂ’s best jazz talent:

As a student of jazz, Mike is proficient on tenor saxophone as well as alto saxophone, his primary instrument. Mike can be heard playing at local venues across Connecticut (Black Eyed Sallys, The Russian Lady, Wadsworth Atheneum, Firebox Restaurant, J Restaurant, the Hartford Club, Sangria Bar N Grill) as well as the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. Additionally he has played at notable music festivals, such as Boston's Greenfest & the New England Autumn Fest.
