Mike Graham's second CD is a fine collection of upbeat, personal songs driven by his warm vocal style. Strongly influenced by life in his hometown Sauble Beach, the songs have a definate summery feel. Like Jimmy Buffet's tunes that extol the lifestyle in the Florida Keys, I found a similar ambience and feel for Graham's appreciation of this more northern resort.
Placed among the upbeat tunes are some lovely ballads, my favourite being, "Knew It All Along", a lovely duet with Jenna Miller. Graham's heartfelt sunny tunes may be just what you need to get you through the cold winter months ahead

"...full of beautiful melodies and introspective lyrics..."
The songs are all well-written, don’t sound alike and are performed with great skill. The first track, “Keep My Cool,” easily matches the work of Jack Johnson and James Blunt, as it is a fast-paced, upbeat acoustic tune.
“Save My Soul” and “Doin’ Fine” sound like coffee house staples, while “Best of Me” has Graham providing a heavy vocal performance in a sweet way. “Float Away” is a lovely short track that fits in well between some of the longer songs.

Bio
Mike Graham was born and raised in Sauble Beach ON Canada. He picked up the guitar at age 13 and has been writing and performing ever since. Influenced by all genre of music, Mike draws his musical style from artiists and groups like, The Beatles, David Gray, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Radiohead, Damien Rice, Pearl Jam, R. L. Burnside, Sublime, U2, and so many more.
Mike has a true entreprenuerial spirit- establishing his own retail beach shop and writing, recording and releasing his own record independently at age 23. He spends his summers in Sauble Beach hosting live music events, sitting on the Sauble Beach Music Committee, selling cd's in his store and playing out of town concerts and festivals. He then tours Ontario & Canada, writes, and records in the fall and winter monthes. Mike has received high acclaim for his 1st album "Worth The Wait", a solo acoustic project showcasing his songwriting talents. Of which, brought about several singles that received and much airplay on college, university and major radio stations nationwide as well as a music video for the song "All I Want".
Mike has sold over 2000 CD's across North America & Internationally and has been quickly establishing himself as a talented writer and emerging performer in the Canadian indie underground. With his warm vocals, catchy guitar riffs and genuine personality he has built a remarkable fan base.
His new album, entitled "Here We Go Again", has already been receiving awesome reviews from radio, press and fans alike. It is Mike's first outing wiht a full back up band and features some vocal cameo's from some talented friends. It is his best work to date and is anticipated to draw some major attention.
Future plans include doing radio and magazine, promoting through internet, and touring in Spring/Summer 2008, with hopes to hit major venues and festivals such as Mariposa, Summerfolk and Hillside. Mike Graham has taken his witty, creative and heartfelt songs from playing around beach side campfires to the hungry listeners across Canada and the world. He was surely worth the wait...
