Mike Jacobs's edgy brand of autobiographical humor has had audiences laughing in the aisles from Rhode Island to DC. A weekly regular at all the top clubs in NYC (Carolines, Broadway Comedy, NY Comedy, Laugh Lounge) come see Mike as he takes you down the very "mean streets" of his life where his stories are hilarious, relevant to all......and true! A comic with a degree in Philosophy, Mike continually asks the question.."I grew up neurotic...am I the only one?" His performances seek to answer the question!
Mikes comedy has taken him to the Boston Comedy Festival, Stand Up 360 NY Comedy Festival, and Caroline's Comedy Clubs "Final Four"..a festival of the top 64 comics in NYC. He was a finalist in TreeHouse Comedy's, "Funniest Comic in Ct". A recent article said.."audiences love Mike Jacobs"...and so will you.
He can be seen in the documentary "Why Stand Up"..a gritty look at NY comedy and is featured in the May-Jun 2012 issue of "VENU" magazine. He also was recently asked to perform at the 2012 Laughing Devil Comedy festival.
