Bio

Thank you for taking the time to hear my music!

It seems unusual that a 60 year old Vietnam vet would release a CD, but the spirit moved me. I grew up with the Norman Rockwell version of the American Dream and Spirit, only to see that vision almost totally eroded by 10 years of war, unrivalled corporate greed, and unprecidented foreclosures and personal bankruptcies. Wounded veterans come home to America's embrace and wait for four or more years for treatment and benefits. When we sing of the land of the free, and home of the brave, the spirit moves me.

My hope is that these songs will help spur activism to recover our American Dreams and Spirit, and to treasure and protect them. As it is, corporate American tracks everything we do, and then turns it over to the government for analysis. Neither I nor my father fought for this.

One of the songs, "What Kind of Love?" is dedicated to helping the Wounded Warrior Project. All proceeds from the download sales of that song will be donated to WWP. I'd like to thank
CDBaby for their efforts and generosity in helping me in this effort.

It's important that you know that my work isn't always serious, and my portfolio includes a good bit of comedy and biting satire that have had some college radio airplay. These include "Fightin'
Whities," the anthem of the Fightin' Whities of the University of Northern Colorado, "The Quayle Whisperer," and "Till Jerry Wins
An Emmy," which was performed live on "The Jerry Springer
Show."

I'm presently networking with area supporters of WWP and scheduling to appear at various fundraising events and promoting my CD as a fundraising tool for WWP. I'd be happy to consider
participating in any activity that benefits veterans causes, but would need an 8 week lead time to assemble a band for a full blown show.
