Bio
Mike McCone is a songwriter/producer hailing from Pontefract near Wakefield.
Still only 20, Mike has a great future ahead of him, predominantly in the songwriting/producing area, although composing for film and TV is also an area that Mike is trying to establish himself in.
Mike has been in various bands, gaining some modest success, with the likes of virgin records, fierce panda and visible noise records showing interest in his previous bands, with BBC Radio One also plugging the bands.
While gaining a lot of experience in the previous bands, touring the UK at the age of 15, and having played guitar since the age of 6, the music style that Mike is writing presently has a totally different feel.
With growing up comes certain levels of maturity, and the music Mike is now writing is generally aimed at a mainstream audience, with styles ranging from classic pop, to R+B, hip hop and dance, and with influences such as U2, Dido, Celine Dion, Natasha Bedingfield, ABBA, Madonna and Avril Lavigne, amongst others, produces some unique but connectable music.
Mikes main aim, on completing university in a yearÂ’s time, is to establish himself as a songwriter/producer, and/or to find artists or vocalists to write for, making a mark in the modern music industry.
Still in the early stages, Mike can be seen as a future in the business, in both writing and producing. The future looks bright for Mike McCone.
