At Artesia . . . folks will be cutting a rug until late in the evening now that the Abita Springs restuarant has opened its Sapphire Lounge, Singer Mike Morris has been crooning swinging tunes in the style of Frank Sinatra for Atesia's guests every weekend. Discography
Mike has released three projects. His first two releases "Look Up And Live" (1999) and "Goin' Jesus Way" (2001) were Christian in nature. Both were eclectic in style the first having a world and the second a jazz sound. Mike's third and newest release "Romantic Reflections" (2004) contains love songs from the 40's, 50's and 60's in full orchestration.

Bio
Mike grew up in New York but has spent his adult life in New Orleans. Drawing from the influences of both great musical centers Mike has developed a style with universal appeal. His earliest memories include singing gospel songs with his family and through the years he has studied under numerous proffesional instructors. Mike is a talented, humorus and gifted artist who dances, sings and plays several instruments to entertain his audiences. He is a must see.
