Bio
Mike spilled into music all elbows and knees, like an awkward teenager who has dreams of someday being an olympic athlete. He was fresh out of college, had few songs under his pen's belt, yet somehow his sound captured the attention of the A&R folks at Lost Highway. He did a demo deal, cut 6 songs, delighted the execs, but was told thanks but no thanks: his music wasn't geared toward the teenie bops, and he wasn't an established name. After that, Mike did some soul searching and came up with two conclusions. First, he wasn't giving up, and second, he needed to temporarily retreat and develop himself so that the next time an offer was on the table, he was a deal no one could refuse.
Four years, and 50 plus songs later, Mike is reintroducing himself, this time as a force.
