Lyrics

I Burn

Written By: Mike Pursley

I burn like a soul set aflame by a cause that wasn’t wrong.
It shows that you never demanded a hand to play in your plans.

So I’ll be what you need.
The burning heat that you slowly feed.

I burn like a house in the night that was yours to open all doors.
You know that you’re free to take what is mine and leave me behind.

So I’ll be what you need.
The burning heat that you slowly feed.

I’ll be what you need.
The burning heat that you slowly feed.
