Bio
Born in Timmins, ON, Mike Ringrose takes a northern approach to his songwriting and playing, his John Mayer meets Dylan style is laid back and relaxing. Mike's live show is solemnly captivating he takes a chilled out angle and slowly wins over his audience with purposeful ease. After playing guitar in a cover band for two years Mike caught a break when he was requested to record his original song Unsaid, on the Timmins 100th Anniversary Album this album was an amalgamation of Timmins and area indie artists, selling over 1500 copies. Currently Mike is attending the Independent Music Production program at Seneca College, this highly competitive program teaches indie artists all the ins and outs of the music industry from writing, recording to promotion. Upon graduation Ringrose will begin recording his debut album titled Layers Shed, with all things in place Mike Ringrose has a bright future in the music industry ahead of him.
