Mike Silva

Picking up his first guitar at the age of 14 Mike quickly followed in his father footsteps becoming another entertainer in the family. His mother, a good hearted woman soon realized she had another good timin’ man in the household. Though he may have driven the family insane during the learning phase she never once told him to stop or even turn it down. Writing was a passion for Mike from day one, everything from inanimate objects to those feelings of invincibility that a teenage boy experiences that first time behind the wheel of an old El Camino inspired his lyrics. The garage quickly became his stage and by 16 his first band dubbed SWAMP was the typical group of long haired adolescent boys in the 80’s dead set on being rockstars. Already equipped with a larger than life personality and ability to make people smile strapping a guitar over his shoulder only amplified and brought out the true performer he was destined to become.

Throughout his career of playing guitar, bass and writing songs Mike has graced stages both big and small. He has come a long way since those first years in the garage and still has the same passion, drive and true love for music. Through his songwriting Mike is able to capture the emotions that we have all felt… from love to heartbreak to a good time with friends. As a performer he sets those feelings to music and engages his audience with his magnetic charisma and undeniable talent. On stage is where the real Mike Silva comes alive, driven by his fans and the energy of a crowd the pure honesty in his music makes everyone in the room either feel as though they already know him or can’t wait to get to know him.

His soon to be released album will feature fan favorites such as “Almost Over You” a compelling song that encompasses the raw emotions of moving on after heartbreak, “3 Chords and a Melody” a song that takes you back to the days of innocence and young love and of course the much anticipated “Mi Amor” the Spanish influenced hit that is sure to get the crowd off their feet and the ladies rushing the stage as soon it starts.

He immerses himself in his song writing and lives and breathes to be on stage.
