Mike Slott was one of the founders of LuckyMe and has grown up from the bare floorboards of a flat in Glasgow, recording hip hop long into the night, through to the backrooms of concerts in Manhattan and now Los Angeles. Mike’s tribute to his time in NYC came in the form of Lucky 9Teen, his debut LP originally released on LuckyMe. But with his foray into dance music via collaborations with Martyn 3024, explorations of meditative ambience on the Mirror Mirror EP and more recently as part of the highly tipped pop / electronic duo Lesser Pieces the future holds much for this humble innovator.
