After sending emails back and forth we were able to get the MuffinBoy pins into this video. The video itself is similar to a remix of the well loved Goofy Movie and MikeStar himself alongside his friend in this video is similar to PowerLine and Goofy's Dad. Colors, choreography, and craziness. Those are the three words that best describe the new music video from Urban Pop sensation Mike Star. I think what I liked most about this video is it's ability to take simple objects & concepts, smear them with both literal & figurative spray paint, and turn them into something we can enjoy. There's nothing too extravagant, no excess "bling" or super-celebrity cameos; just some good ole' fashioned party music with an exceptional video. If you'r an artist/creator who can't appreciate that, you probably shouldn't be working in the mainstream music industry. Just sayin' *grin*. Kudos Mike!

A full-time artist! Thats me! Dedicating a life to a career! Thats me! Longevity in the entertainment industry! Thats me! Why do I do this? Cause I appreciate touching the lives of all open ears threw music. Thats all I ask for because theres no feeling thats more fulfilling. While being one of the youngest talented entertainers in the area, I overcame boundaries of isolation even though my surroundings werent entertainment based. I grew up knowing exactly what I wanted to do with my life but was never open about it because no one in my surroundings had similar dreams. So I decided to do something about it. I studied multiple genres of music and styles of performing. Which lead to the take off of my career after winning a You Got Served dance competition in. After that I started to nourish my skills participating in any and everything I could get my hands on dealing with the arts. A star is a natural luminous body visible in the sky and one definitely landed in Baltimore, MD. For someone who claims he never really played with toys when he was younger; You would really want to get in the mind of this young guy. He preaches on stories of him running home from school to see The Mickey Mouse Club and watching Music Videos all day instead of cartoons. Kind of weird right? The normal child spends their time doing "fun stuff!" Now we know all artist have their idiosyncrasies but recording concerts from TV and watching them over and over at the age of 11 makes him a little different and by the way, that was "fun stuff" to him.

Attending Baltimore City College High School opened many doors for him while succeeding in academics and arts. Gaining vocal and performance techniques through extra-curricular activities built to enhance talents for the real world. There he finally found his place to explore the gift of entertaining. Studying multiple genres of music and styles of performing not only nourished his skills, but furthered his love for the arts.
Mike Star’s career took off after winning a “You Got Served” dance competition in Baltimore which lead to his position as an official dancer for (Radio One Station) 92Q Jams. He also did background work in the nationally known movie “Step Up 2 – The Streets” and directed a series of shows that gained recognition and became the most popular in the Baltimore City Public School System.

Gaining an elite realm of popularity for just being himself is what shows us he not only has natural star quality, but is a quintessential pop star. In his area I can almost guarantee if you mention his name somebody knows him, knows of him, or knows somebody who knows him. You probably can catch him at the towns biggest events as a featured guest or even sitting front row at the most recent fashion show because of his dope sense of fashion.
"I believe in expressing yourself threw the arts. So I use Music and Fashion to do so. And I challenge everyone to do the same. I’ll be one of the artists to open the minds of people around the world and let them know its ok to dream."
By now I'm sure you're completely convinced this guy has paid his dues and is more then ready to land his spaceship on plant earth and takeover the WORLD! But follow me on this! Just when you think I'm done stuffing you ears with excitement, there's more! Mike Star is currently exploring and preparing to invite the world on a journey of sounds by recently recording a whole album.
"When creating music and hitting the stage I get a high like anyone couldn't ever imagine. And for that reason, I'm 200% sure this is what I'm born to do. I'm so sure of it that this is my Plan A, B, and C and I'm putting EVERYTHING into it"
An Entertainer is a title given to someone who comes in a wide range of forms. But its rare to come across that "IT" person who uses the power of song, story of dance, and magic of acting to completely amaze you."
Performing at various shows gave him that title. His electrifying stage shows will not only bring you to your feet, but have you leaving feeling amazed and remembering that kid Mike Star!
