Mike Tea

Forged in the furnaces he himself created, Mike Tea has quietly fought in the trenches of the local music scene for the last ten years. While founding a pair of Boathouse Tea Rooms, and then The Bullring at the University of Guelph, Mike Tea always imposed his quirky pop-rock and wise lyrics on the guests of these popular establishments. It was here that Mike Tea spent years jealously soaking up the rich music scenes of both Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo, then carefully carving out a musical style of his own that also includes influences from classic rock and 80's pop.

With the release of his second studio project imminent, he and his four-piece power trio continue to pursue the stated goal of becoming “famous in Guelph”.
