Bio
a very well seasoned guitarist/vocalist, 'Mike the Spike' became interested in playing guitar while working at MIT draper labs and decided to live off the money from playing in and around small c clubs, and bars around boston, and cape cod, while taking his paycheck from his job to pay off his school bill loan and credit cards.
Mike the Spike started out as a supporting muscian for 'Dr. Harp' chicago style blues band, then moved on to play for 'Lots-of-Papa' and the Fabulous Fames, a.soul\ r&b group, playing shows from Hartford Connecticut to Providence, Rhode Island.
once leaving those groups, mike moved on to play guitar for Boston's very own famous doo-wop singing group, the G-Clefs, playing show's from New York city's harlem boys choir theater, to open for the Righteous Brothers at Boston's Hatchshell, then sharing the stage at Symphony Hall with other promonate oldies acts from the 50's..
