BandAmericanaBlues

Mike performs an eclectic blend of original and cover songs. He plays a variety of blues, folk, rock, country, and reggae. His sometimes raspy sometimes sweet vocals and harmonica accompanied by straight acoustic guitar or open tuned slide dobro are always a delight to audiences of all ages.

Biography

Mike was born in Tampa, Fl as the youngest of seven sons. His influences include what his peers were listening to as a young lad as well as the music he heard from his older brothers as he was growing up. Listening to the music he enjoyed, Mike like many others wanted to know where it came from. And so began his interest in old blues artists such as Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt and Lightning Hopkins to name a few.
