Compared to the likes of Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Erykah Badu, Tia Carerre (Wayne's World) and Pocahontas, Milan blends smooth guitar and vocals with a unique take on rap, backed by a full band.
At the age of 20, Milan is producing lyrics with a sophistication beyond her years. This is combined with a seriously soulful voice and a style of lead and rhythm guitar playing that would convert electro nuts and leave metal heads red faced.
Sought out as a freelance guitarist, Milan has played with and supported some of Sydney and Melbourne’s top musicians. She is a permanent member of the Sirens Big Band and RnB singer Alphamama’s ‘the Love Drug’, has headlined shows at some of Sydney's most prestigious venues such as the Basement, supported artists such as Urthboy & Electric Empire, and has collaborated with oz hip hop groups Horrorshow & Spit Syndicate.
Milan’s song-writing incorporates elements of soul, blues, jazz, reggae and hip hop creating a fresh neo-soul sound. With a soon to be finished diploma in sound production she is an undeniably multi-skilled talent with a bright musical future.
