Roads have been cleared for the acoustic rock duo Mile 48 over the past three years. With their energetic live performances they have won over a loyal fan base in their hometown of Columbia, Missouri. The music of Mile 48 is a unique blend of melodic guitar work, heartfelt lyrics and bouncy rhythms reminiscent of Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, The Dave Matthews Band and Blue October. With over two and a half hours of original material, the members of Mile 48 are looking to take their show on the road.
Mile 48 is led by singer/songwriter Scott White. Scott has the unique gift to pour out his soul in every song with music that speaks for itself. Scott is known for his powerful stage presence which never fails to engage an audience.
No front man would be complete without an amazing rhythm section backing him up and drummer Josh Jaynes is no exception. His twelve years of experience, quick hands, and impeccable timing, elevates the music to a new level while effortlessly blending elements of jazz, rock, and metal.
