Miles plays country blues in the piedmont style. A student of the masters like John Jackson, and Archie Edwards he brings new energy to old songs and a unique wit to his originals.

Biography

Miles enjoys sharing his love of music with appreciative audiences. He has played in festivals, concerts, and dances from Artscape in Baltimore Maryland to the Bull Durham Festival in North Carolina. Streaming video is available of a performance at the Kennedy Center Millenium Stage. And some of his fondest memories are watching dancers from atop the stage at the Spanish Ballroom in GlenEcho Park. As a youngster growing up in the Washington Metro area Miles learned to appreciate all types of music. A deeper love of the Blues coincided with his first guitar at the age of 23. Years later Miles plays with MSG the Acoustic Blues Trio and the Riverdale Ramblers Cajun Band. He is also a founding director of the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation.

Discography

MSG the Acoustic Blues Trio is finishing a full length CD. Release date for the project called "Meet Me in the Middle" will be Winter 2006.
