"Band in a Box"

Lucky Lampley and brothers Dan and Johnny Bokor make up the hard-rocking Lomita trio Milestone, which has just released its self-titled four-song debut EP.
Lampley handles bass and lead vocals, Dan Bokor plays lead guitar and Johnny Bokor drums for the band which plays frequently around the South Bay.
The CD was recorded at Longwood Production Studios in Lakewood. Two of its songs, "Barely Legal" and "Epic", will be featured in "World on Fire", and independent film slated for release next year.
"Out of Order", which opens with a fitting Al Pachino sound bite from "And Justice for All", nicely sums up the band's slamming Social Distortion/Face to Face approach, with its driving guitar and enthusiastic backing vocals propelling the catchy, high-energy tune. Bio

In the beginning there was a band... a band that discovered the secrets of fire, a band that crafted the first wheel from stone, a band that pioneered what is now called "Rock N Roll", and a band that mastered the masses with deep soulfull rhythms and shredding guitar riffs earning them praise among the Gods and common people alike.... however, Milestone is not that band, but they rock too!

Emerging from different parts of Long Beach and the South Bay, Milestone has chiseled a nice little nook into the local rock scene for themselves with hard-working ethics, catchy tunes, killer live shows, and a little Luck o' the Irish. Since 2005 the band has been working hard to make themselves heard, playing hundreds of shows throughout Southern California as well as Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. In addition to their extensive stage exposure, Milestone has also been featured in independent films, on college radio shows, and in local news media, including an article in the South Bay Daily Breeze who say,

Recently, Milestone has self-released the Pan Fried EP which features 4 dynamic tracks that showcase the musical diversity and creativity of the group and has been gaining popularity through various online music communities as well as in the streets of SoCal. So if you are a fan of good music, cold beer, hard liquor, and great times then Milestone says, “Come to our next show!”
