MilesTone Productions Announces Summer Electronic Dance Music Festival In Philadelphia. MilesTone Productions, a Philadelphia based concert promotion company, has announced an electronic dance music (EDM) festival to take place summer 2013. The festival will feature many global headline acts such as Avicii, Armin van Buuren, and Skrillex. Also there will be numerous other supporting acts such as Alesso, Krewella, and Tritonal. In total there are 27 musical acts spanning 9 hours.
The festival is scheduled to take place on June 15, 2013 at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The price of a general admission ticket is a competitive $75.00, and goes up to the highest price level of $500, which will get the buyer a meet and greet with all the artists of the festival.
Elektro magazine says, “From the we have received and the information revealed to us by artists’ management companies, our excitement and anticipation for this event is driving us crazy! We feel like 6 year old school children feeling the emotions on the first day of school; cautious, nervous, but excited as hell!”
MilesTone Productions is owned by CEO and Event Coordinator Miles Blatstein, a local music business entrepreneur.

MilesTone Productions: Who are we and what do we do?
Many of my friends call me by my stage name MilesTone, or DJ MilesTone. I’ve been a disc jockey for about 4 years and producing electronic dance music for about a year. I have always been interested in music as well as the business that goes on behind the scenes. With my knowledge of the industry, an acute ear for good music, staying up to date with new bands and new genres, I am always contemplating ideas to make different aspects of the industry better.
Specifically I wish to create a more enjoyable and memorable experience for electronic dance music concert customers. MilesTone Productions was created to do just that; create an emotional response in electronic dance music concert attendees and continue to provide that service and high quality entertainment.
MilesTone Productions brings the most popular and talented electronic dance music artists to the Philadelphia area. We specialize in hiring talent that will draw the largest crowd and create the emotional response with the customer. This will induce the customer to feel as though they “need” to purchase a ticket to see the artist(s) immediately. Unlike other promotional companies, MilesTone Productions appeals to the customers and fans of the music. This helps to sell more tickets as well as increase our positive reputation and popularity.
Although we do not have a venue of our own, we feature shows at various clubs, sports arenas, and concert venues in the Philadelphia area. Such places include Lit Ultrabar, Starlight Ballroom, The Electric Factory, Festival Pier, and the Wells Fargo Center to name a few. These venues are already equipped with sufficient sound, light, and entertainment equipment. However, since MilesTone Productions aims to be at the top of the list for promotional companies, we rent various light displays, 3-D visual displays, smoke machines, CO2 cannons and more.
Currently we have a festival scheduled for June 15, 2013. This will feature highlight artists in the electronic dance music genre. Also, we will feature up and coming artists who are still known throughout the scene, but will be a cheaper alternative to strictly all headline artists. I am looking for dedicated sponsors to invest in MilesTone Productions and jump-start the company into success. With my knowledge and experience I will work efficiently and effectively, blasting MilesTone Productions into success.
In order to be successful and remain successful, a company must appeal to the masses that use or purchase a company’s service. In this instance our company aims to please the fans of electronic dance music by supplying them with the highest quality service and the most enjoyable experience at our shows. We will analyze where the fans are located, whether at the local colleges, high schools, or just localized, which will help when promoting shows and our image. Also we will keep track of how many customers purchase tickets and come to our shows, as well as the comments, discussions, concerns, and suggestions that ensue after shows. This can be tracked via social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.
