Kristen Taylor finishes out this trio with what could only be called red hot guitar and mesmerizing vocals. Miles to Nowhere is a catchy little power trio hailing from Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 2007 Miles to Nowhere has been sweeping the west coast with their brand of pop punk tunes, coining a new genre they call "galaxy punk". It is strongly influenced by yet not a sound alike to bands such as Alkaline Trio, Hole, Nirvana, Blink 182, Deftones, The Cure, and The Smiths. But more than any other band the creation of the music is stimulated by the experience of life.
Kristen Taylor writes the music as well as fronts the band at live shows with flowing vocals and hooking guitar riffs. Kristen proudly endorses Greg Bennet Guitars made by Samick. Playing them both on stage and in the studio. M2N can be seen full band with varying musicians on bass and drums or just Kristen acoustic. Either being a real treat for your ears!
The current 5 song self titled EP was recorded at Studio City Sound in California and is available on at www.cdbaby.com/milestonowhere, and at all shows. Kristen is currently in the studio working on a new album expected to be released late 2011.
